Thinkpad W530 Driver For Mac

He was basically giving up, but among the remedies he listed trying unsuccessfuly was a software audio enhancer I hadn't yet run across called DPS System Wide Plug-In. (Actually this may be one that I did run across before but dismissed because it was described as 'for Mac' wherever I initially saw it.) Decided to give it a try. (Unlike DFX the trial is fully functional, but only for 2 days.) Surprisingly it increased the volume markedly, especially with the 'New York Laptop' setting. But naturally it made the fidelity substantially worse. Playing with the graphic equalizer 'advanced' settings in tandem with 'New York Laptop' helped fidelity only marginally. The other presets provided better fidelity, but at the expense of most of the volume increase. For mac 1010 10.5 8 hp driver deskjet. But then, as I was ready to give up, I finally hit on an equalizer setting that sounded pretty decent with 'New York Laptop' while maintaing most of the volume gain.

As enthusiastic as I am about my new Thinkpad W530, there are 4 or 5 things that I find very annoying, including the touchpad (ONE issue is that it's not recessed from the palmrest and thus the scrolling region is hard to find without looking -- and and then stay on) plus those tinny, low-volume speakers. It's a Thinkpad W530 with the following specs: Intel Core i7 3720QM Intel HD 4000 / NVidia Quadro K1000M (set to boot only to Intel) And the rest of the regular Thinkpad setup () I've been asking around in a TonyMac thread here: The only thing that isn't working is the system itself when it's booted without any flags. Right now, all it can boot with is safe mode, without sound, with pretty bad shearing of graphics, and without WiFi. The WiFi is to be expected though, since it's a centrino chip, and I have a dongle for it. The rest seems to be fine- the resolution is normal (1600x900), there aren't any stupid glitches in the system, the nipple works fine and most of the apps aren't sluggish, except for the graphics part. Anybody successful with this machine?

Specific Questions: What BIOS Settings should I change for - LENOVO Motherboard BIOS? What should I keep in mind when using a Virtual Machine [MacOS] for the Bootable USB Creation Process? Should I use Clover EFI Bootloader or Clover Configurator, or Both? What settings should I change change in those?

My last laptop, an Asus z70Va bought eight years ago, had a Realtek AC97 sound card along with a Realtek software equalizer. It took a lot of settings experimentation, but I was able to get nice loud *and* good sound from its initially W530-level quiet speakers (of course we're using laptops as the benchmark here). But alas the Realtek High Definition card in the W530 has no similar equalizer.

Just curious -- I wouldn't consider buying it regardless because of that bizarre fully-depressing-touchpad design (although I'm sure many/most have no issue with it.just a personal preference). Plus I would have had to spend more.

Again realize we're speaking by laptop standards here, but with the Lenovo preset + the same DPS equalizer settings I had been using before, the sound is quite a bit louder -- even louder than 'New York Laptop,' but without the fidelity deterioration. And no distortion, at least to my ears and on the audio I tested (both files and live streaming). Fyi, the DPS equalizer settings I'm using now with the Lenovo preset are: Sliders 1 and 4: All the way to right. Sliders 3, 5 and 6: All the way to left.

I would just like to share with the community that I managed to get W530 running Yosemite 10.10 using Clover. I am attaching my EFI folder for anyone that would like to try to install it. You must boot with the following flags: -v kext-dev-mode=1 BIOS: Enable only the Integrated Graphics (HD4000) Disable CMS Support What Works: -Brightness: with Rehabman's kext /DSDT patching -Battery: with Rehabman's kext / DSDT patching -Bluetooth (had to swap the Bluetooth Module with one from a X220) -Sound What doesn't work: -Wifi (W530 has a whitelist BIOS) and haven't found a compatible card. Anyone know of a compatible one?

If left on -- at any setting -- at the same time as DPS -- it just makes everything worse.
