• 1 Answer SOURCE: I solved the problem by connecting my Sony IC Recorder to the USB port on my McBook Pro computer and then emptying the trash can on the Mac computer. Visually (flashing red indicator light) and audibly (the recorder's sound that indicates something being erased), it was clear that mp3 files were finally, really being erased on the Sony recorder even though the recorder's own screen display had previously shown only empty folders and no files. Dragging files to the trash can doesn't really erase them unless you also empty the trash.

Nothing happens. I give up the DVE software and istall the 'Sound Organizer', as told by Sony. It doesn´t have the driver. I plug the recorder on PC and I go to 'Device Manager'. Ok, IT´S THERE!

I read Benjamin's account and was so happy that there was a simple fix to this, but instead of going to the CD, I went to the Sony folder on my C drive and found a folder for drivers and installed it. Windows 10 said it wasn't compatible, but gave me the option of installing it with compatibility mode or something like that, you'll recognize it when they offer a choice one is with the word compatibility. The straight way didn't work, so I tried the compatibility mode and it worked. Thank you Thank you Benjamin. I love it when a plan works. But I CAN´T INSTALL this DVESetup_EN_3301.exe. I´m in Windows 10.

I have a Sony IC Voice Recorder (ICD-SX46) that I am unable to find a driver for. I have looked on Sony's website (even contacted customer support, with no response) as well as on the internet.
